DCS PID converter
The three numbers on a faceplate are not portable. DeltaV gain in minutes per repeat is not the same object as Honeywell proportional band in the same field, and series form is not ideal form. Moving a list of loops from one system to another without converting for those conventions is how a working plant becomes an oscillating one.
This converter takes the numbers as shown on the source faceplate and writes them in the destination platform's own units and form. The arithmetic is the same from_display / to_display path PIDSnap uses everywhere else. A row that cannot be expressed on the destination — ideal-to-series when Ti is less than four times Td — is refused with a sentence. Other rows still convert. Type one loop, or upload a CSV. Nothing is stored.

Questions that come up
Does this write the converted numbers onto my loops?
No. The file is not stored and nothing is written to a loop row. Copy the destination numbers yourself after you have confirmed the destination platform's actual block conventions.
Can I override units per row?
No. Every row is read in the source platform's defaults and written in the destination platform's defaults. A loop whose faceplate disagrees with those defaults needs the single-loop form converter, not this list.
